Linda Gewis studied photography at Focal Point, Vancouver, BC. For many years her passion was trees and sunsets. When exposed to performing arts photography she develped an instant passion for this field. With a background in Ballet Jazz and Afro Caribbean dance she developed a new dance form which she named "Camera Dance". What this means in plain language, is photographing the music and the dance. As an artist, it is not just freezing a moment of dance in time, but feeling the music through her body
